Replacement:
The Director of Sales and Engineering assigns a replacement during sick/personal leave as necessary.

Position’s Objective:
  • The jobholder performs his/her duties in compliance with the safety law and by observing modern, theoretical and practical insights and aids and the principle of profitability.
  • Increasing company profitability by maintaining inventory accuracy.
  • Ensure that the material flow is in compliance with the Prototype production plan.
  • Verify that the material flow enables the deadline to be met and that the material flow takes place in a cost-efficient manner.
  • Ensure that the finished products are stored and loaded in the best possible manner.
  • Ensure all of the above by entering basic data into the MRP system

Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform inventory control activities and maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing products and supplies.
  • Identify through digital and manual counting discrepancies within the inventory and analyze the root causes of discrepancy and improve existing inventory control procedures.
  • Conduct daily cycle counts and ensure that system counts are always updated with correct inventories.
  • Prepare detailed inventory reports (inventory adjustment report, cycle count report, and monthly inventory accuracy KPI scorecard).
  • Perform daily analysis to inventory discrepancy problems and determine the root cause of discrepancies.
  • Ensure that overstocks are minimized, and the excessive and obsolete inventory is removed. 
  • Periodically arrange for rejects to be recycled.
  • Process various inventory transactions in a timely manner to maintain current and accurate materials records.
  • Monitor and adjust transactions to proper accounts to minimize/eliminate inventory variances and unnecessary net scrap loss in financials.
  • Optimize inventory control procedures to ensure optimal inventory accuracy.

  • Ensure that sufficient material is available for the Prototype Department
  • Review and reduce weeks of inventory in order to improve cash flow.
  • Assist to conduct an annual physical inventory. 
  • Identify excess slow-moving inventories and submit them to management for review. 
  • Initiate necessary paperwork to have inventories dispositional and follow up on completion of the disposition.
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within inventory control and inventory management.
  • Enter basic data into MRP system according to company procedures and optimize system information if required (Serial parts, CO, IS, M and further)
  • Improve data integrity by correcting SAP MRP database, system logic errors, and transaction procedures.
  • Create manuals and work instructions for users
  • Provide guidance to the prototype and production team regarding work order discrepancies/issues.  Assure that all processes are running and remind people to work on their tasks (responsibility matrix)  Enter orders into the Infor MRP system, checking data and ensuring their correctness in the system.  Assist Prototype Lead and monitor all the activities related to keeping accurate records on the incoming as well as outgoing shipment
  • Monitor material substitutions and BOMs for accuracy. 
  • Contact person for IT topics
  • Can work independently and in a team including Sales, Purchasing, Planning, Production, Launch Management and other departments as needed
  • Close cooperation with the parent company in order to resolve problems with suppliers in new starts, changes and deviations.
  • Escalation of unresolved problems to the supervisor. 
  • Evaluating and preparing analysis and reports to the superior.
  • Improving and optimizing set processes. 
  • Work with various customer portals in regard to procurement and logistic topics In addition to the above outlined duties, the jobholder agrees to perform individual duties within the department at the direction of the Facility Director.

The jobholder is authorized to:
Use a company car for business trips. 
Incur expenses within the existing guidelines.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Hands on experience MRP systems
  • Reliable and persistence.
  • Pay close attention to detail at all times.
  • Investigative nature, logical, and analytical mind.
  • Exceptional problem-solving capabilities, as well as the ability to interpret and analyze large amounts of data. 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug screen and any random or for-cause drug screen.
  • Possess a High School Diploma or certified equivalent.
  • Prior automotive manufacturing experience preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to work efficiently within a team or independently on a regular basis.
  • Focus on safety, quality, and productivity – in that order.
  • Detailed and precise approach to work. 
  • An ability to look for improvements in processes.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written. 
  • Self-motivation; ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Competency as evidenced by post-secondary education and/or equivalent work experience.
