General Summary:

The Sales Account Manager will manage the day-to-day activities of specific programs and assisting the Key Account Manager.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in business or engineering
  • 1-3 years experience in engineering or sales
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Tools
  • Well-organized and has the ability to consistently meet deadlines
  • Effective verbal, non-verbal, negotiation, and written communication skills
  • Ability to sustain a high degree of professionalism in interacting with internal and external customers
  • Effective attention to detail, problem-solving, analytical
  • Experience in a manufacturing organization preferred
  • Experience with cost calculations and customer price breakdowns preferred
  • Ability to work with Cross Functional Teams a must
  • Languages: English (required), Spanish (plus)
  • Travel:  US customers, plants in Mexico, Europe, and China (as needed)

Tasks/Responsibility:

  • Manage customer account activities, while supporting Key Sales Leader direction​

  • Assist Key Sales Leader with new business acquisition process via RFQ kick-off and daily meetings to ensure RFQ on-time/accurate
  • Assist with quoting of Engineering Change Management process (along with PM, Engineering and Costing)
  • Support Purchasing with supplier selections and competitiveness
  • Develop external customer relationships through effective communication, courtesy, and exceeding expectations
  • Drive optimization of being actively engaged in continuous improvement efforts
  • Function in highly collaborative environment where flexibility and teamwork is critical to success
  • Assist Key Sales Leader with overall Program Sales Strategy/Clear action plans
  • Manage and assist with On-Time invoicing of Tooling and EDD
  • Support JQMX with SAP and accurate pricing for monthly invoicing
  • Manage Purchase Order History, to ensure customer accuracy
