Job Requirements:
  • ‚Äč10+ years experience in human resources management and administration. 
  • Manage recruiting, on-boarding, and new employee orientations for multiple positions.
  • Assist with payroll processing.
  • Benefits administration (health, dental, vision, disability insurance, 401k plan, and more).
  • Ability to process worker's compensation claims, unemployment, short-term & long-term disability, and FMLA.
  • Expertise in benefits administration and the Affordable Care Act.
  • Manage and respond to employee grievances.
  • Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication skills and high level of professionalism
  • Excellent management skills
  • Must be available to work 20-24 hours per week
Education Requirements:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree required
  • Master's Degree preferred
  • SHRM certification preferred
Job Duties:
  • Manages the day-to-day operations in the human resources department for two of our clients.
  • Develops and maintains a human resources system that meets the clients' needs.
  • Process workers' compensation claims, unemployment claims, and disability requests.
  • Track and process FMLA time off.
  • Recruits and interviews candidates for open positions.
  • Conducts new hire orientations.
  • Administers benefits programs such as life, health, and dental insurance, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance. 
  • Update management on Affordable Care Act regulations.
  • Implements employee handbook/policy statements regarding equal employment opportunities, compensation, and employee benefits.
  • Consults legal counsel to ensure that policies comply with federal and state law.
  • Writes and delivers presentations to managers and employees regarding human resources policies and practices.
  • Plans new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals.
  • Keeps records of benefits plans participation such as insurance  benefits, new hires, promotions, terminations, transfers, performance reviews, terminations, for reporting.
  • Provides management training in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, sexual harassment, and more.
  • Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
  • Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Investigates accidents and prepares reports for insurance carrier.
