Under the supervision of the Director of Information Technology (IT), the IT Technician serves as a Tier 1 support for daily operations, providing systems analysis and technical solution to support AAA1B systems users.
  • Provides Tier 1 support for on-site and remote troubleshooting of end user hardware and software. Including software/hardware installation management and support as well as management of user profiles, permissions, and access using Active Directory.
  • Serves as support for end users with complex IT issues, and works with 3rd party IT vendor/s to resolve various problems, including issue escalation, follow-up and resolution tracking.
  • Analyze new/current business process and tools, identifying areas for improvement, developing and implementing solutions, documenting and communicating recommendations and results.
  • Setup and configure new user Windows computers using imaging software, managing PC inventory and deployment.
  • Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree (preferred) in Information Technology with a minimum of 3-5 years of directly relevant experience.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of PC systems, Microsoft Office software, and data networking. Experience using Microsoft Azure in an O365 environment.
  • Strong customer service skills including effective communication with internal system users and 3rd party vendors. Must have a high sense of urgency to respond and resolve IT issues.
  • Experience with assisting in project oversight and/or support.
  • Intermediate computer and data entry skills in Word, Excel (report writing) and Outlook required.
